What is a Path?
Paths allow you to string together multiple content objects that can be assigned with a specific due date. Paths are great for use cases like onboarding or learning paths.
What is a Nested Path?
A Nested Path is a Path which contains other Paths within it. This will allow your team to further group general and specified Paths together.
For example, I am setting up an Onboarding Path for the Sales department but need to include the existing Week 1 materials that all employees must complete, in addition to Sales specific onboarding materials. Instead of recreating the Path and adding in each All Employee module, I can just add the 'Onboarding Week 1 (All Employees)' Path to my Nested Path:

Will the settings that I set at the Path level apply to the Nested Path?
Yes. For example, if modules are locked in the Path and required to be completed in order, users will be required to completed the Path modules in the same way while completing it in the Nested Path.
Will the settings I set for the Nested Path be applied to the individual Paths as well?
No, the settings set at he Nested Path (parent level) won't cascade down to the individual Path level.
What happens if there is overlapping content in my Nested Path?
Trainings can only be added to the Nested Path once. If you try to add a training module or Path that already exists in your Nested Path, you will receive the following error:
