Customer Learning Cloud: How to enable AI Translations for Guides within your WorkRamp Academy

Academy Learners now have the ability to translate content within Guides in real-time, which will save the time and effort of creating and updated multiple versions of Guides for different language needs.

This is a global setting that Academy Admins can either enable or disable for all Guides within an Academy.

How to Enable Guide Translation

Enabling Guide Translations is a global setting within your Academy. To enable this function:

  1. Navigate to your Academy > Settings > General Settings

  2. Scroll to the 'Localization' section of the General Settings page

  3. Enable the toggle for "Allow Learners to translate Guides with AI"

NOTE: Academy Guide Translation will only be available on a Guide if the AI Translation setting is enabled within the General & AI Settings menu from the Guide Editor. See this article on how to enable translation at the Guide level

Once enabled, Learners in the Academy will now see a Translate icon at the top of the sidebar. Clicking this will open a list of languages to translate to.

Once a language is selected, the Guide may take a few moments to generate the translation, at which point the Learner will be prompted to Refresh the guide to display the translated content.
