The Asset Manager is a repository of content you can use across different Guides and Resources. You can upload assets to be used in the Attach File, Upload Video, Audio or Image content objects.

Adding Assets

To access the Asset Manager portal, click on the Manage Content tab and select Asset Manager:

Use the Upload button to start uploading your Assets:

Once added, click on the Asset Name to view the Asset Details page. This is where you can update the Asset Name, see which Guides and Resources is it currently located, as well as the Asset file history.

Managing Assets

You can create Folders to organize your Asset files. Using the move button on the Asset's row, you can move items into specific folders or the All Assets folder.

You can also do bulk actions by using the checkboxes beside the Asset rows, which enables the Actions button:

Using Assets in Guides and Resources

To use Assets in your Guides and Resources, drag the Attach File, Upload Video, Audio or Image content objects into your editing field. You will see the option to 'Add from Asset Manager'

FAQ

  • Who can access the Asset Manager?

    • Only full Admins can access the Asset Manager to add, update or delete assets. However, any Editor can add Assets to Guides or Resources.

  • How can I delete an Asset?

    • Before you can delete an Asset, you will first need to check the Location tab to ensure it isn't currently in any Guides or Resources. Once the Asset has been removed from all trainings, you will see the delete option available.
