Creating A Survey

When creating a survey you have one of two options. You can develop a standalone Guide with only surveys, or choose to incorporate them within a Guide.  

Standalone Survey Guide 

To begin, create a Guide and open it to the editing workspace shown below:


Next, drag and drop the Survey object into the editing workspace. (Feel free to remove any Content objects that may not be relevant.)

Here you can create an entire Guide focused on gathering feedback from your Learners through Surveys. You can configure the question, scale (from 3-10), and scale labels within the Survey objet.

By clicking Preview in the top right corner of your editing screen you can view the Guide from the Learner's perspective.

Surveys can also be placed anywhere within a Guide as a checkpoint for Learners.

Survey Submissions

Once your Learners have completed their assigned surveys you can view their survey submissions individually by clicking on "View Submissions" for each individual learner on the Guide Overview page, or you can view all survey submissions by clicking on "Actions" and "View All Submissions" and filter by question.

Exporting Survey Results

To export results from a survey click on the Actions drop down, and select Export all Data to CSV.

From there you can scroll over to view the survey questions submitted by each Learner. 

View Survey Results in the Report Builder

You can report on Survey results via the Report Builder. Go to Reporting --> +Create Report --> Guide Submissions to create the report. From there, you can filter by question type (Survey), question, Guide, etc. to narrow down the survey results.
