If you are using a PRM like Allbound, we recommend connecting your partner Academy to their system to provide an enhanced experience for your partners.
Note: We recommend testing this in an Allbound sandbox before you move this onto production. Please connect with your CSM for technical assistance in getting this set up.
Setting up SSO
The first thing you'll want to do is set up Single Sign On between the PRM and your WorkRamp academy. For Allbound, they will be using SAML based SSO.
On the Allbound side, click into Allbound Settings > SSO and click [Add New Connection].
In the scenario where you're using Allbound credentials to log into your WorkRamp Academy, you want to choose the second option listed below, where Allbound is the Identity Provider.
From there, fill out the form to complete the SSO set up. The “Login URL”, “Logout URL” , and “Assertion URL” can all be set to “URL_OF_ACADEMY/saml/consume”.
To set this up on the WorkRamp side, please complete the instructions found here: https://help.workramp.com/en/articles/3897826-setting-up-saml-sso-in-academies
Creating an Action Widget on your Partner Dashboard
You'll want to create action widget on your partner dashboard. This action button should open up your WorkRamp Academy and prompt the user to sign in via your Allbound credentials. Once they've signed in once, this should save the Allbound session so that they don't have to sign in again.
This will be found under the Settings tab:
From there, you want to go to your dashboard and create a button that links to your WorkRamp academy.
You are all set. Now, when a Partner clicks on there Learning button on their home page, they will be redirected to WorkRamp to take their training.
