Degreed is a lifelong learning platform that individuals and organizations use to discover learning content, build skills, and certify their expertise.
The Degreed integration is a great way to make your WorkRamp content available in your Learning Experience Provider (LXP). By connecting the two platforms, you can push WorkRamp content to your LXP for a seamless search and navigation experience.
Note: This integration is only available for our Employee Learning Cloud platform. The integration only syncs Guide, Resource, Path and Challenge assignment data, not SCORM.
Getting Started
In order to get started, you must send a request to your Degreed representative and WorkRamp support team (support@workramp.com) with the following:
Admin email address of both your WorkRamp and Degreed accounts
Sync one or all option for WorkRamp libraries (please reference "choosing library to sync" section below). If syncing one library, reference the name of the library.
Once you've sent this request, the WorkRamp team will work with the Degreed representatives to activate the integration. Since there is backend work required from both parties, this one-time request will typically take several days to complete based on support queue length from both parties.
Choosing the Library to sync
With Degreed, you have the ability to sync WorkRamp library content to the Featured Provider section. There are two options for this sync:
Sync an individual public library's content from WorkRamp
Sync ALL public library content from WorkRamp
The sync will occur every 24 hours and update your courses on Degreed with the latest metadata from WorkRamp. The sync happens at 3:00pm UTC each day.
Note: A library must be configured in WorkRamp to be "public" in order to be available in Degreed. This setting can be found at the Library > Members tab:
The Featured Provider Experience
Once you have activated your integration, you will see WorkRamp appear as a Featured Provider within Degreed.
Once you click into the Provider tile, you will be able to navigate the WorkRamp content available to you:
Clicking on a tile will launch the WorkRamp Guide, Course, Resource, Challenge, or Path in a new browser window.
Once you complete a course on WorkRamp, your Learner can click "Mark Complete" on Degreed to show that they've completed the WorkRamp material.
Adding WorkRamp Content to Degreed Pathways
After navigating to a WorkRamp card, you can click "Add to Pathway" as an option:
After adding the content to a pathway, you'll see it appear next to other content in Degreed, such as courses from Udemy:
The Search Experience
Once content is connected from your WorkRamp libraries, it will also surface your WorkRamp content inside the Degreed search index. You can also filter based on fields provided by Degreed's search index.
