Customer Learning Cloud: Learn about the different languages supported and how to set up a default language for your Academy.

Note: Academies requires an Academies subscription. If you're interested in Academies, please contact your sales representative or email sales@workramp.com.

You now have the ability to set a default language on an individual Academy basis.

WorkRamp currently supports the following languages:

  • Brazilian Portuguese

  • German / Deutsch (DE)

  • English (US)

  • French / Français (FR)

  • Italian / Italiano (IT)

  • Japanese / 日本 (JA)

  • Korean / 한국어 (KR)

  • Dutch / Nederlands (NL)

  • Brazilian Portuguese / Português (PT)

  • Swedish /Svenska (SE)

  • Vietnamese / Tiếng Việt (VN)

  • Simplified Chinese (Mandarin Chinese) / 中文 (CN)

Setting a Default Language

Start by navigating to Academy > Settings > General to view your Academy General Settings page.

Next, scroll down to the bottom to find the Default Language section and use the drop down menu to select the preferred language for your Academy:

Note: The language setting will only translate the WorkRamp system language. This will not translate the content itself.

Can Academy users change their default language?

Yes, you can enable a language picker for your users to select the language the system text is translated to.

To enable the Language Picker, go to your Theming page and under the Footer section and make sure the 'Hide Language Picker' has [X] selected.

Once enabled, if users would like for the Academy's system lanaguage to appear in a language different from the default one that is set, they can use the language picker at the bottom of their screen:
