Content Collaboration elevates the content creation experience by allowing you to better collaborate on Guides across your organization. Features include the ability to create robust collaboration workflows and advanced permissioning at the guide level to allow content creators to more effectively work with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts).
Tagging Collaborators on Content
On the top of each object, you will see a [+] button.
Using this button, you can tag content collaborators and provide content feedback. The tagged user will then receive an email notification of the tag and comment.
Note: Tagging a user on a specific content object will give them access to the entire Guide.
Managing Content Comments
On the top of your Guide Editor page, you will see a [+ Comments] button beside the Preview button on the top right.
This button will show all Open and Resolved comments. For each comment, if you click on the Task indicator button, it will take you directly to the related object.
In the comment window, Collaborators can reply back and mark the comment as resolved.
If you accidentally resolve a comment prematurely or need to reopen it, go to the Resolved tab of your Comments and click on the 3 dots option for the comment and select "Unresolve."
FAQ
Does the user tagged need a WorkRamp license?
Yes, the tagged user needs to be an active WorkRamp user with a license.
Does the tagged user need to be an Admin?
No, the person you tag does not have to be an admin. We've narrowly scoped permissioning for this feature so that the tagged user will only be able to edit or comment on that specific, tagged Guide.
For the tagged user to be able to provide feedback or make suggestive edits, will they need to be an Editor for that specific guide?
No, by tagging the user, they will automatically be granted the permissions to comment or edit the Guide.
How does a tagged user who is not an Editor or Admin access the Guide?
They will need to access the Guide through the link in the comment email notification. (They will not be given access to the Admin console.)
If someone replies or resolves my comment, will I receive a notification?
Yes, you will be notified if there is any activity (replies or resolves) on comments you created.
