Google Tag Manager is a free tool provided by Google that allows website owners and digital marketers to manage and deploy various types of tracking tags and code snippets on their websites without having to manually edit the website's source code. Tags are snippets of JavaScript code that are used to collect data and send it to various analytics and marketing platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, and more.
Follow these instructions to set up and install Google Tag Manager.
Once you’ve created your account, copy the Container ID:
You will then insert the Container ID into your WorkRamp Academy under Integrations > Google Tag Manager:
Some of the Google Tag Manager options, including for Google Analytics, can be directly connected through WorkRamp’s Academy integrations. Connecting these platforms through Google Tag Manager instead can help organize your data collection.
