How To Generate Share Links for Trainings

Share Links allow you to send links for training courses for Learners to view or self assign the training to themselves.

To access the link to a specific training:

  1. Select the training you would like to share     

  2. Click the drop down menu located in the right-hand corner of the Admin Console

  3. Select Get Share Link

The Share Link will automatically copy to the clipboard by selecting the link.

Additionally, you have the ability to customize your settings by allowing new users to sign up with an external domain, auto-assigning the training and assigning a due date. 

To access the share link to a specific Resource:

  1. Select the Resource you'd like to share

  2. Select Preview on the top right corner

  3. You can get the Share Link when in Preview mode

External Domain

When a user with an external domain signs up using the shared link they will be directed to the WorkRamp registration page. There they can create an account using their external email address. This will then direct them to a Google login page where they will use their newly created credentials to login.

To verify a new user's registration click into the Admin Console >> Settings >> Users >> Search. You should now see the new user! 


Auto Assign
If you would like for the Guide to be assigned to users through the Share Link, please make sure to check the Auto assign Guide box. This will allow your users to click on the Share Link and be auto-assigned the Guide. If this box is not checked, users will see the training in preview mode and any progress made will not be tracked.

Allow Anonymous Access

Checking this box allows non-WorkRamp users to view your training content. One thing to note is that the user's progress will not be tracked as they will be viewing the training content in preview mode.

Note: When using a Share Link for SCORM, you'll want to enable the Auto-Assign setting to ensure you are tracking the learner's progress.
