The WorkRamp HRIS Connector allows WorkRamp Employee LMS customers to directly integrate their HRIS or HCM with WorkRamp in order to automate user provisioning and manage employee learning more easily.
Setting Up the Integration
To get started, an Admin will need to navigate to Settings > Integrations > + Add HRIS Integrations
When you click on the "+Add HRIS Integration" button, a modal will open with all of our HRIS partners. You can either scroll or search for your HRIS and select it.
Once you have selected your HRIS, the modal will walk you through the steps to integrate. Some HRIS partners require setup steps, for example, you may need to create an "integration user" to grant WorkRamp the correct permissions. If you need any help with your HRIS, search WorkRamp's Help Center for your HRIS or contact our Support team.
Once you have completed the integration process for your HRIS, you will automatically be taken to the integration's page where you can enable custom attributes or setup additional Custom Attribute fields from your HRIS. All required fields will be on and uneditable, but any additional fields can be turned on/off at any time.
If you need to add any fields that don't automatically display here, you can select "Edit" at the top of the page and select "Map Additional Fields."
Note: These fields will not populate until the next scheduled sync, so you will not see the field in the list until the next sync completes.
Once you return to the Integrations page, you will now see your integration appear in the User Management section.
From the HRIS integrations page, you will be able to set your preferences for how your HRIS data is pushed to Workramp including:
Maintain management hierarchy from your HRIS
Maintain Groups from your HRIS
Custom Attributes
All required WorkRamp Field (note: these cannot be turned off)
