⚡ Faster editing for Guides - Currently rolling out
Building rich, detailed guides just got a speed boost! If you've ever felt your guide slow down while adding lots of text blocks, accordions, callouts, or flip cards, you'll notice the difference right away — editing guides with lots of content is now noticeably faster. 🚀⚡
How it works: only one text field is "live" for editing at a time — click into a field to edit it.
No changes to how your content looks or works — just a smoother, snappier editing experience behind the scenes. 💨
🗑️ Trash & Restore Update - Coming 26th August
A smarter Trash: find, restore, and manage deleted content with confidence ✨
We’ve completely rebuilt the admin Trash to make cleaning up your content library easier, safer, and far less nerve-wracking! Deleting something is no longer a scary one-way street—you can now browse, restore, and organize deleted items whenever you need to.
🚀 What’s New
All-in-One Trash Hub: View everything you’ve deleted in one central spot—including Guides, Paths, Events, Workflows, Libraries, Challenges, Resources, SCORM, AI Simulations, folders, and Assets.
🔍 Smart Search & Filters: Quickly locate missing items by name, or filter your list by Type, Original Location, Date Deleted, and Deleted By.
↩️ Restore to Original Location: Restoring an item sends it right back to the exact folder it came from. If that folder was previously deleted, we’ll automatically place your item in a safe default location (your General folder) so nothing gets lost.
📂 Smart Folder Navigation: Deleted folders keep their original setup! You can open a folder inside the Trash to inspect what’s inside, and restoring a folder brings back all of its contents together.
Bulk Actions: Clean house in half the time. Select multiple items at once to Restore or Delete Forever in a single click.
🔒 Full Control Over Permanent Deletion: Remove a single item with Delete Forever, or clear out the entire page with Empty Trash. Both actions require a confirmation step so you never lose work by accident.
💡 Good to know: Your items will stay safely in the Trash until you choose to restore or permanently delete them—we’ll never automatically erase your content!

Building dynamic groups just got even more flexible! You can now fine-tune your group rules by excluding people who belong to a specific group - no tricky workarounds needed.

🚫 Effortless Group Exclusions: Alongside the existing "Group is" condition, you can now select "Group is not" directly inside the rule builder to exclude members of another group.
🔄 Automatic Real-Time Updates: Set up rules that adjust seamlessly as your workforce changes. For example, you can target everyone in Sales who is not currently in your On Leave group—membership updates automatically as status changes.
⚡ Zero Setup Needed: It’s ready to use right out of the box! The "Group is not" option simply appears as a choice whenever you add a group condition to a dynamic rule.

Inviting users to your Customer Learning Cloud (Academy) hub just got a massive upgrade! Instead of adding contacts one by one, you can now upload a CSV file and invite thousands of people in a single step.
🚀 Highlights
📩 Invite at Scale: Upload a CSV file to invite up to 5,000 contacts in one go (up to 5 MB). Every contact lands in the same state and gets the standard invitation email automatically.
📋 Custom Registration Fields Built-In: Your downloadable CSV template automatically includes a column for every active custom field on your hub, making it simple to pre-fill profile data upon invite.
⚙️ Background Processing: Big uploads run smoothly behind the scenes. We’ll email you as soon as the import completes, complete with a downloadable error report if any rows need fixing.
🛡️ Existing Rules Respected: No need to re-configure anything—your existing domain restrictions, personal email blocks, and duplicate contact protections apply automatically to every row.
💡 Good to know: To ensure top performance, imports run one at a time per hub.

📊 API Update: Custom Scores for Registration Completions - Out Now!
Capture exact learner scores directly via API in Academy 🎯
We’ve added a handy upgrade to our Update Registration endpoint in Academy! You can now pass an exact numeric score when marking a learner's registration as complete via the API, making your completion data much more accurate.
🚀 What’s New
🎯 Record Exact Scores: Optionally pass a whole number score from 0 to 100 when completing a registration through the API.
🔄 Backward Compatible: If you omit the score or send it as
null, it defaults to 100—so your existing integrations won't miss a beat!🛠️ Built-in Validation: To keep your data clean, the endpoint accepts integers between 0 and 100 (decimals, negative numbers, or text inputs will return a helpful error).
📝 Updated Responses: The updated score is now echoed back in the registration response object alongside completion status and timestamps.
💡 Good to know: Completing a registration through this endpoint always sets the learner's status to completed/passed, regardless of the score supplied (even for lower scores or a score of 0).
Faster, Searchable Academy Content Lists
What's changed
Academy's Certifications, Paths, Collections and Events lists now load in pages instead of all at once, and each list includes a new search bar so admins can search by title to find an item straight away.
Why you'll love it
Academies with large catalogues – in some cases over 1,000 certifications – were experiencing very slow load times on these pages. We've rebuilt these lists so they scale properly no matter how much content an academy has, giving admins back the time they were losing to slow pages. The new search bar also means admins no longer need to scroll through long lists to find a specific certification, path, collection or event.
How to use it
Go to your Academy > Content, then open 'Certifications', 'Paths', 'Collections' or 'Events'.
Use the search bar at the top of the list to find an item by title.
Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the list to move between pages.
