The updated Text field in the Guide Editor maintains functionality of the previous Text field (such as continuing to allow HTML, sizing, and tables) and introduces new improvements. Notable enhancements include:
Style identifier: the new text field is simpler to ID which font style (Header 1-5 or Normal Text) is in use
Enhanced tables: tables are simpler to use, including easy adjustment of width/height of cells and selecting across cells
Organic lists: lists (bullet and numbers) can be created from the keyboard
Custom text colors: selecting colors no longer requires digging through HTML code, as the text color selector allows for simple hex code inputs
Highlight and font colors: enacting font colors mid-sentence does not force the entire sentence or paragraph to adjust to the font color
Events: 📆 Microsoft Outlook Integration
The native Microsoft Outlook calendar integration allows teams using Microsoft Outlook to seamlessly create and manage calendar holds on Learners' Outlook calendars based on session registration in WorkRamp. Once the integration is fully enabled, Learners and Instructors will begin to receive calendar holds on their Outlook Calendar as follows:
Attendees: upon registration for an event session the event will appear auto-accepted on their Outlook Calendar
Instructors: when added as an instructor to an event session the event will appear auto-accepted on their Outlook Calendar
For any instructors or attendees that are outside of the company's domain they will simply receive an .ics file containing all of the necessary information.
