How To Assign Custom Permissions

Employee Learning Cloud: Learn how to assign custom permissions for Reporting, User Management and Group Management

Permissions Feature

The ability to enable access for specific Users and Groups to features like Reporting, Groups Management, Automate Assignments, and more.

How To Assign Permissions 

To get started, ensure you are in the Admin Console. From here:  

  1. Click on [Settings] from the main toolbar located at the top of the page

  2. Navigate to the "Permissions" tab

  3. Click [+Add Profile] and name the new permission profile 

  4. Choose the appropriate permissions to be granted:

KEY

Reporting

Gives the user access to Reporting > Report Builder. The user will have access to all user data.

Groups Management

Gives the user access to the Settings > Groups page to manage Groups.

Users Management

Gives the user access to the Settings > Users page. They can complete all actions on that page except provide users with Admin access.

Automations Management

Gives the user access to Settings > Automations page. They can edit or add/remove automations.

Badge Management

Allows the user to access the Badge tab in the Settings > Badge page.

CMS Management

Gives the admin access to the CMS tab, to manage all CMS content.

WorkRamp Content Access

Gives the learner access to the Development tab (WorkRamp Content powered by Go1)

Linkedin Learning Access

Gives the learner access to the Development tab (Linkedin Learning)

Udemy Access

Gives the learner access to the Development tab (Udemy)

5. Add Users and/or Groups

User's View with Permissions

Users with Reporting permissions will see the following screen, and have access to the Report Builder.

Users with Groups Management permissions will have the ability to manage all Groups through the [Settings] tab.

Users with Users Management permissions will have the ability to manage all Users through the [Settings] tab.

Users with the Automations Management permissions will have the ability to manage all Automations through the [Settings] tab.

Users with the Badge Management permissions will have the ability to manage the Badges in the [Settings] tab.

Users with the CMS Management permission will have access to the CMS tab.
