Ready to kick off your Academy adventure? Just click on the hub switcher in the top left corner, find the Customer Learning Cloud tile, and hit 'Create a new Academy.' Easy peasy!
If you have multiple learning clouds, or if you’re juggling more than one Customer Learning Cloud, be sure to check out our article on "Navigating the Customer Learning Cloud Admin Console" for some handy tips.
In the pop-up window, name your Academy.
Initial Set-up
There are four main components to set-up and manage your Academy:
Theming
Body
Settings
Content
Analytics
Expand the different sections below to understand more
Theming
Theming
First up, click on the Academy tile to set up your interface. Here’s where the fun begins! You can upload a logo, add a favicon (that little icon you see in tabs), and start customizing how your Home Page and Registration page look.
Body
Body
Next, head over to the Body section of the Theming tab. You can jazz up the sub-navigation bar to access Trainings, Certifications, and Events tabs.
We've got a snazzy WorkRamp font ready for you, but feel free to swtich it up with a Google Web Font or even upload your own (just make sure it's a .woff or .woff2 file!).
In the example below, the background color is set as purple, with the link color set as white and the active link color set as lime green.
Your Academy will open in the Collections tab by default. If you would prefer it to open a different tab, such as the My Trainings tab, please select this option from the Default Landing Tab drop-down menu.
You also have the option to rename each of the Academy pages (Trainings, Certifications, and Events) to best suit your needs. Additionally, to ensure this new label is updated consistently across the platform, you will need to adjust the label’s pleural and adjective designations.
In my example below, we have "Qualification" with the plural "Qualifications" and the adjective "Qualified."
Settings
Settings
The Settings tab will be where you go to set up the General settings and Registration Fields for your customers.
In the General Settings, you can set up a Custom Subdomain or Domain to make it easier for customers to access your Academy. For example, you might choose "officeacademy" for your custom subdomain.
Note: Please make sure to enter the subdomain in all lowercase characters.
Pro tip: Enable "Require authorization to view" so customers need to register and fill out fields to see what you’ve got!
For the Registration Fields, you can stick with the default options or create custom fields to gather extra info from your customers. For more details on your setting up your registration fields, check out our help article.

Content
Content
Now, it’s time to start adding content! Click on the Pages tab and create collections by selecting "Create." Think of each collection as a themed set of training materials.
Want to change the image for a collection? Just click on the ellipses menu!
Your content will pull from your existing WorkRamp training materials. We suggest creating a separate folder to keep your Customer training content organized and distinct from Internal training content.
Feeling selective? You can hide or display content pages using the toggle on each content page. If the toggle is OFF, that page won’t show up in the Academy sub-navigation or be accessible to Contacts. It also won’t appear as a Default landing page option in the theming editor.
Note: The theming editor uses the Collections page (where Trainings are housed) to display theming updates made to admins. If the toggle for the Collections page is OFF, Contacts will not see the page, but admins will still be able to view it to see any changes made in the theming editor.
Analytics
Analytics
Last but not least, the Analytics tab is your go-to for insights on who’s accessing your Academy content, along with attendance and registration data.
You can even export this data into CSV format for some internal review. Happy analyzing!
